Bahá’u’lláh had inherited a fine calligraphic hand from His father. During one of Bahá’u’lláh’s trips into the town of Sulaymáníyyih, a paper with Bahá’u’lláh’s penmanship fell into the hands of one of the Sufi shaykhs (leader, teacher, holy man) of Sulaymaniyyih. Realizing that this ‘Darvish Muhammad' was something more than He appeared to be, this Sufi shaykh went to Him and was soon learning from Him.
